Every great story deserves a proper ending, and the Eagles are writing theirs inside the most extraordinary concert venue ever built. The Long Goodbye — the farewell journey that began with a touring run in September 2023 — has culminated in a historic residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. With eight final performances remaining on February 20, 21, 27, 28 and March 20, 21, 27, 28, 2026, the curtain is closing on one of the most storied careers in rock music. The March dates are officially billed as the “Final 2026 Shows.” The Eagles also headline Weekend 2 of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 30 – May 3). Visit eagles.com for details.
The Long Goodbye Tour launched in September 2023, shortly after the passing of founding bassist Randy Meisner. What began as a traditional arena farewell evolved into something far more ambitious when the Eagles opened their Sphere residency on September 20, 2024. Now totaling 56 shows through March 28, 2026, it stands as the longest-running residency in the Sphere’s history. More than 700,000 fans have attended across 44 sold-out performances, each one harnessing the venue’s immersive LED display and Sphere Immersive Sound to transform a five-decade catalogue into something audiences describe as unlike any Eagles concert before. Sphere Entertainment calls it “the ultimate connection to the band’s legendary catalog.”
The farewell lineup features three members of the classic Eagles era: Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit. Joining them are Vince Gill, the country-music legend who has toured with the Eagles since 2017, and Deacon Frey, who carries his father Glenn’s legacy on stage. The touring band includes guitarist Steuart Smith, drummer Scott F. Crago, guitarist Chris Holt, and keyboardists Michael Thompson and Will Hollis. Together, they deliver a show that honours every era of the Eagles’ story — from the Troubadour beginnings to the global arena years. Follow the Eagles on Instagram and X (Twitter).
The Eagles formed in the fall of 1971 and pioneered a uniquely American sound — blending country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop into something that transcends genre and generation. 150 million albums sold worldwide. Six number-one albums. Six Grammys. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 1998. Kennedy Center Honors in 2016. Their Greatest Hits 1971–1977 remains the best-selling album in U.S. history at 38× Platinum. Hotel California is third at 26× Platinum. These are not just statistics — they represent a half-century of being woven into the fabric of American life. When this goodbye is over, it’s over. Learn more at eagles.com.

The Sphere show opens with the song that defines them: “Hotel California.” At the Sphere, it becomes something entirely new — desert hallways stretch across 160,000 square feet of immersive LED, a ghostly chorus echoes overhead, and the iconic guitar solo reverberates through Holoplot’s beamforming sound system. From there, the setlist moves through five decades: “Take It Easy,” “Witchy Woman,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “New Kid in Town,” “Take It to the Limit” (with Vince Gill’s soaring vocal range), “Seven Bridges Road,” “Desperado,” deep cuts like “Those Shoes,” and more. Each song receives its own immersive visual treatment — “Witchy Woman” fills the arena with moss-covered forests, while “Life in the Fast Lane” takes you on a high-speed ride down the Las Vegas Strip. Reviews from February 2026 shows call it “the greatest Eagles concert experience of a lifetime.”
All remaining dates are at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with doors at 7:00 PM and showtime at 8:30 PM:

The Sphere opened in September 2023 as a venue unlike anything in entertainment history. Located at 255 Sands Avenue, Las Vegas, connected directly to The Venetian Resort, it seats approximately 17,600 for concerts. Its interior LED display spans 160,000 square feet, wrapping from the floor behind the stage up and over the audience to create a seamless 360-degree visual canvas. The Sphere Immersive Sound system uses Holoplot beamforming technology to direct audio to individual seats with precision that traditional PA systems cannot match. For a band saying goodbye, it provides a canvas worthy of the moment. Learn more at thesphere.com.
